Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning set an NFL record with 12 touchdown passes over the course of the first three games. He got a great start with a seven-touchdown game in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens.

There was concern for Denver’s pass protection following the loss of left tackle Ryan Clady for the season. But that seemed to be just fine against Oakland on Monday Night Football. Of course, it helps having Manning under center checking into different coverages and essentially being a coach on the field.

As for Philadelphia, they sit at 1-2 on the season, coming off of back-to-back losses. But they do get some extra time to prepare for the Broncos, as they played on Thursday night in Week 3.

The Chip Kelly offense has had some rhythm struggles over the course of the last two games, which is to be expected because it’s still so new to the team.

Defensively, Philadelphia will need to step it up, because Denver has scored 40 points or more in two of three games, and at least 37 points in every game. That is a tall task to defend, especially with the number of weapons that Manning has to throw too.

With the Broncos trio of young running backs finding form, that makes it even more difficult. It’s hard to see the Eagles walking out of here with a win, which would put them at 1-3 on the season and in a tough spot.
