Kansas City preserved that perfect mark, and will be favored to move to 9-0 on the season before their first of two showdowns against Denver in Week 10. The Chiefs will face the Broncos twice in three games, which will certainly tell us quite a bit about both teams most likely.

Kansas City is the first team in history to start out 8-0 after having the worst record in the NFL the season before. It hasn’t been smooth sailing all the way through to this point though. Twice they’ve won games by one point. But the sign of a good team is pulling out those close victories and finding ways to win.

Going up against Buffalo is the final test before the bye week for the Chiefs and their matchup with the Broncos. Given the fact that there is a bye week in between could be a good thing for Kansas City not to look ahead to Denver. The open date will leave them with the chance to prepare the extra week, versus having the Broncos next Sunday and every one around the league talking about that looming matchup.

On the other side of the field for the Bills, they dropped on the road to New Orleans. Buffalo is still struggling at quarterback with E.J Manuel sidelined. The injuries at the quarterback position has spelled the results for Buffalo so far. They’ve lost three of their last four games, and are the underdogs entering this matchup.

The 30th-ranked Bills passing attack does not match up well with a good pass defense in Kansas City. It’s hard to see how Buffalo will be able to score points in this one. They will need to generate short fields with turnovers or good returns set up by special teams.
