The Saints continue to look good, and are as good as any team in the NFL at home. In fact, they might rival Seattle as the team with the biggest home-field advantage. Drew Brees threw five touchdown passes en route to a 35-17 beatdown of the Bills to move to 6-1 on the season and two games up the division over the Carolina Panthers. And with the Atlanta Falcons struggling sitting at 2-5, it definitely looks like the New Orleans has this division on lock.

The Jets will try to forget about the 49-9 defeat they took last week against Cincinnati. It’s not hard to see from the score that nothing went right on offense or defense. Really there isn’t so much to learn from the loss as to try and put it behind you.

If we go by trends, then this could be a victory for New York. They’ve traded off wins and losses every week so far to their 4-4 record. With the loss last week that would mean a win this week. It’s a testament to New York being able to regroup and rebound from losses, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Brees will present a tough challenge for the Jets. New York ranks No.1 in the NFL against the run, so they will first try and play to their strength and shut that facet of the New Orleans offense down. The problem is that Brees is so good and has so many weapons.

This one might be closer than many might think though. Just when you count the Jets out for a string of losses, they bounce back, like with the wins over New England and Atlanta earlier this season.
