How Would LeBron Do In The NFL? Dez Bryant Says He Would Be A ‘Beast’

LeBron JamesDallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant thinks that LeBron James would be great in the NFL. In fact, Bryant said that James would be a ‘beast’.

This isn’t the first time that the topic of James in the NFL has come up, with the NBA MVP stating on several occasions throughout his career that he loved to play football in high school. At 6’8 250 pounds and with the quickness he has, it’s no wonder that many, including Bryant, think that James would be ideal to tear up the NFL.

“I’ve seen a little bit of his highlights from high school. He’s got the hands, he can run the routes, he’s fast enough. He could play in this league if he put it all together,” Bryant said to ESPNDallas.com.

James played Bryant’s position of wide receiver in high school at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s. He did not play his senior year however, obviously due to his rise in fame on the basketball side of things. And he’s done ok since then.

Bryant isn’t too shabby himself, coming off of a great season in 2012 in which he hauled in 92 receptions for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is a mismatch on the field when he steps up, and that is exactly what he thinks James would be if he were to ever suit up in the NFL.
