The Texans have some questions surrounding their opening season, specifically relating to running back Arian Foster. The Pro Bowler has been prone to some nagging injuries, with this offseason no exception.
In fact, we probably won’t see Foster on the field at all this week, as Houston will try to rest him and get him 100 percent healthy for the start of Week 1. Ben Tate looked good against New Orleans last week, rushing 11 times for 74 yards and a touchdown so the Texans might feel less pressure to push Foster.
Dallas defeated Cincinnati last week in what was their fourth preseason contest. The Cowboys know that this is a very important season for them, with the potential for big changes to be made should they miss out on the playoffs again.
Quarterback Tony Romo will be the focal point for Dallas all season, needing to improve his play during the critical moments in big games. Romo might only see a series or two if at all in this one though, with the Cowboys playing this one at home.
