The Seahawks are undefeated while the Colts are 3-1 on the season. There are several good games on tap for Week 5 but this one might be the best. Seattle comes in off of a comeback victory over Houston, while Indianapolis crushed Jacksonville as expected.
This is a game between two quarterbacks taken in the 2012 NFL draft. Andrew Luck was the first overall pick for the Colts and has lived up to the billing. Russell Wilson was a 3rd round draft pick for the Seahawks, and has been making teams question passing up on him ever since.
With the new dynamic of Trent Richardson in the back field, it’s an added element that looks like will only get better and better. Richardson had 20 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars. As both Richardson and the offense get more familiar with each other the Colts will only get better.
This will be the best secondary that Luck will face to this point in the season, and the pressure for the receivers to get open will be there. Look for Reggie Wayne to play a big role if Indianapolis is to win this one.
Seattle will continue to try and get things done on the ground behind Marshawn Lynch. Expect Lynch to get a healthy dose of carries and attack the front seven of the Colts defense to then open up the potential for some play-action over the top of the secondary.
This one should be a good one folks, so you’ll want to be sure to try and check it out if you can.
