The Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Buffalo Bills Sunday afternoon In Week 6. The Bengals are coming off of big win over the New England Patriots, while the Bills will have to endure more time without starting quarterback E.J. Manuel.

Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns, Manuel went down with a knee injury that will keep him sidelined for at least a couple of weeks. In place of Manuel, Thad Lewis will be the interim starter for Buffalo. Lewis was promoted up from the practice squad after the Bills did not acquire former Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman despite trying to sign him. Freeman instead goes to another team with quarterback issues in the Minnesota Vikings.
On the other side of the field for the Bengals, it was a nice win over the Patriots to prevent back-to-back losses. Cincinnati held New England without a touchdown, and snapped quarterback Tom Brady’s streak of touchdown passes in consecutive games at 50.
On the flip side though, the Bengals have managed to score just 19 points over the course of their last two games. In fact, this was their third game this season of five total where they’ve failed to score 14 points.
Offensively, quarterback Andy Dalton is going to have to get better because continuing to put all of that pressure on the defense will come back to bite them. Dalton has five touchdown passes and five interceptions this season, which isn’t the ratio that quarterbacks are looking for. And when adding in the three fumbles he has as well, that’s eight total turnovers to just five touchdown passes.
This one between the Bengals and Bills looks like it has the potential to be another low-scoring affair, where the first to 17 could ultimately be the winner.
