Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will be on the big stage looking to get his team another big road win out west. First it was a dominating win over the San Francisco 49ers which really turned some heads to Indianapolis being a legitimate contender.

Then, the Colts defeated the Seattle Seahawks at home to hand them their first loss of the year. Needless to say, the Indianapolis might be the second-best team in the AFC to Denver. And the Colts will match up with the Broncos next week so that is a game to look forward to.

But first, it’s the Chargers that are on the minds of Indianapolis. San Diego dropped to the Oakland Raiders last week and will try to regroup. A win over a team as hot as the Colts would definitely be a good start.

But in order to get the win, San Diego will have to solve the mystery on defense of how to stop Luck. That side of the ball has not been a strong unit. The Chargers are 27th in the NFL defending the pass, and 24th in the league at stopping the run. That is a recipe to giving up yards, and consequently, points.

On offense though, Philip Rivers has been playing well, as the passing attack ranks 5th in the league with more than 310 yards per game. There are definitely ways to try and exploit Indianapolis. This will be the best passing offense that the Colts have faced this season, and if Rivers can find a nice rhythm early they can definitely pull off the win here.
