Dallas and Philadelphia walked away with wins this week, which means that the winner in this game will have a one game division lead over the other. Both the Eagles and Cowboys are an even .500 at 3-3 on the season.
Philadelphia gets this one at home, but that hasn’t exactly been a good thing this season. All three of the Eagles’ wins this season have come on the road; they are 0-2 at home so far.
Whether or not quarterback Michael Vick is healthy enough to go in this one remains to be seen. Nick Foles led Philadelphia to a win over Tampa Bay last week and looked pretty good in the process. Vick is sidelined with a left hamstring issue, and with those being temperamental it’s hard to say for sure if he will be ready to go. The good news is that Foles is certainly a viable option, and there might even be a re-opening of the competition if he plays and beats Dallas.
Defensively it’s safe to say that the Eagles will be in for a challenge against Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense. Romo has been playing well over the course of the last two weeks, putting up 48 points in a loss to Denver and 31 points in a win over Washington.
Philadelphia has been struggling on defense, and has been susceptible to teams that feature the passing game.
