New England is one of those teams that simply doesn’t lose two games in a row. After dropping to the New York Jets two weeks ago, the Patriots found themselves down 17-3 in the first half to the Miami Dolphins last week. There was no panic in their eyes though, as they reeled off 24-straight points for a 27-17 victory to gain ground on their division rival.

As for Pittsburgh, it took them a while to win their first game of the season, and they followed that up with another win. But a loss to Oakland last Sunday seemed to kill any momentum generated from the previous two weeks.

Offensively against New England, the Steelers will have to find some sort of run support to help Ben Roethlisberger in the passing game. It’s been a theme that has led to a string of losses in the first half of the season.

The Steelers on defense have been equally as bad at defending the run. In the passing game they’ve been among the best in the NFL. This could present a good matchup against Brady. While Brady has a ton of experience, aside from Rob Gronkowski there are a lot of young receivers. Look for the veteran Pittsburgh secondary to try and take advantage of some of those receivers with a disguise of blitzes and coverages on the outside.

If the Steelers can create some turnovers, then things could go in their direction and they could have a chance to win the football game.
