The newest season of the acclaimed HBO Series ‘Hard Knocks’ premieres tonight, and will follow the Cincinnati Bengals through training camp.
The season will run through September 3, covering all four of the Bengals preseason games. The Bengals’ first preseason matchup will actually be televised nationally on ESPN this Thursday night, August 8. Cincinnati travels to Atlanta to face the Falcons, with the Monday Night Football crew in town, led by Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden.
The season premiere will air tonight at 10pm ET/PT on HBO and will run in the same time slot through it’s conclusion.
Those who watch the show this season will be treated to the defending AFC North champions, and their journey towards trying to repeat and get to the Super Bowl. Cincinnati has plenty of top players to captivate audiences. Receiver A.J. Green is arguably a top-three receiver in the NFL, though has been hampered by an injury of late.
On defense there will be some fun personalities to watch, including James Harrison, Geno Atkins, and Michael Johnson.
Hard Knocks gives the inside look at training camp, and viewers will see sides of players, coaches, and the training camp process that they do not normally get to check out. The Bengals were the subject of the show back in 2009.
