It’s a battle between brothers in Peyton Manning and Eli Manning this week. Older brother Peyton is coming off one of the best performances of his career. The Broncos opened up the NFL season against the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens last Thursday night. All Manning did was throw for seven touchdown passes, which ties the most he thrown and ties the NFL record once again.

Denver wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said that this offseason he noticed a big difference in the ball speed coming off of Manning’s throws, and that was certainly apparent in Week 1.

As for younger brother Eli, the Giants lost 36-31 on the road to Dallas. New York turned the ball over on their first three possessions, and had six total turnovers on the night. What was remarkable is that they still had a chance to win the game.

Things will need to be cleaned up with the Broncos coming to town, and it looks like that Giants defense will be tested big time. The addition of Wes Welker to the passing game for Denver really seemed to open things up. The Broncos can beat you in a lot of different ways, which will place a ton of pressure on both the offense and defense of the Giants to protect the ball and get stops.
