The Texans have to feel like they let a big win get away from them. Houston controlled the majority for the game against the Seattle Seahawks at home last week, but a costly turnover that resulted in a touchdown forced the game into overtime, for which the Seahawks were able to win. It was a tough loss, but a loss that the Texans have to get over quickly with a road trip to the 49ers.

A Houston win would have done San Francisco a favor, as the 49ers try to run down Seattle in the division. San Francisco righted the ship with a Thursday Night win over St. Louis last week, and have had an extra few days of rest to prepare for this one. It was a nice win to get back to 2-2 after dropping two-straight games.

49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started a bit slow against St. Louis, but thanks to a big performance by Frank Gore, the passing game was then able to open up in the second half. If Gore can continue to be productive like that this season, San Francisco will be right on the heels of Seattle in the NFC West waiting for just one slip up by the Seahawks.

This game matches two teams with Super Bowl expectations coming into the season, and is a statement game for both. If the Texans can come in and get the win, that would be huge after the loss last weekend.

San Francisco wants to prove that they are the team people thought they were coming in, and a win in Week 5 would get things back on the right track.
